Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill
In the past couple of years, the Weslo Cadence C44 treadmill could be one of the popular budget models ever. Even untill now, there are still many people use this model in their workout routines. Selling for less than $400 this excellent design model was probably the only treadmill that offered the customers an adjustable incline feature. But, is it the only thing that makes you should buy the Weslo Cadence C44? Let’s get closer to this model.
This model has several basic features like heart rate monitor, digital speed control, large LCD display and a comfortable cushioning. With a 2.25 THP Impulse Drive motor which has a maximum speed of 10 mph and three different manual incline features (3, 6 and 9%), this model offers you a good cardio workout with the addition of weight loss benefits. In addition, the Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill can easily be stored because it is designed with space-saving consideration. If you are just beginning to a treadmill workout and do not plan to get more intense workouts later, then the Weslo Cadence C44 treadmill is worth considering.
On the contrary, if you plan on running then it won’t fit to your needs. The Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill comes with a 16” X 47” tread belt, which is very narrow for a running surface as suggested. The motor also can’t go to the maximum of 10 mph in a workout. If you force to get that maximum speed then you’ll hear lots of strange noises. Although the manufacturer claims that the Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill can support a maximum weight of 250 lbs., you however won’t be able to use this machine if you are 250 lbs. of weight and specifically when using the maximum inclination of 9% at 10 mph of speed. It definitely won’t work for you. Broadly speaking, the maximum weight that is allowed to walk or jog on this machine is no more than 200 lbs with inclination of 9% at 7 mph of speed. If you are forcing out more than that, then don’t blame it if you get to fall and injure yourself. In short, you can’t expect too much on this model for a more advanced workout.
Because it is a low-price model, it makes sense if the Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill only provides a very short warranty period that only offers you one-year protection for the motor and ninety day for other parts and labor. This warranty policy could be a sign of a poor quality machine. You can’t expect too much on this model. However, you should also remember the fact is, with benefit comes cost. Obviously, buying a more expensive treadmill is probably going to get you a better one. So, it is up to you deciding if the Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill good for your money or not.
